(WINLOTT Inc.) has once again invested in the development of the young sporting talents throughout the Windward Islands when it remained the principal partner and title sponsor for the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control (WICBC) Under 15 Tournament, to be hosted in St. Vincent & the Grenadines from December 12th – 17th 2023.

Winlott Inc which has been sponsoring the event since 2015, will make a cash contribution of $130,000 to this year’s tournament, as well as other contributions in kind towards promotion and advertising.  This year’s Winlott Inc/WICB Under 15 tournament will be promoted under Winlott Inc’s Super 6 brand.

Executive Director of Winlott Inc, Ms. Allison Thomas handed over the cheque to WICBC CEO Mr. Romel Currency on 1st of December 2023. Ms. Thomas expressed her board’s commitment to the partnership with the WICBC, and to the continued development of our youth cricketers, many of whom have played in past WINLOTT INC/WICBC U15 and U19 tournaments, and have moved on to playing higher levels of cricket at the regional and international levels.

It has allowed our young cricketers throughout our four islands the opportunity to work and aspire towards becoming the next Brian Lara, Viv Richards, or Curtley Ambrose. The WICBC, stakeholders of cricket, and most importantly, our youths, remain exceedingly grateful to Winlott Inc. for its vision and commitment towards development,” said Mr Currency.

The Winlott Inc. sponsored tournament was last held in December 2022 in St. Lucia with the St. Lucians emerging champions.
